I Don’t Get Google Wave

Last week I received a Google Wave invite.  I had wanted one and when I finally got one I was really excited.  Until I set it all up and then my excitement went away.  I thought, “Ok, so now what do I do?”  And that is about as far as it went, I haven’t even looked at it yet.  What is the point of it?  I know it’s new and it will take time to get everybody to start using it, but when most of the people that I do business with are not using it, it doesn’t make a whole lot of sense.

At this point in time I think it is highly overrated and overly hyped application.  Maybe it’s because I just don’t get it, but I would rather stick with Twitter, Facebook, and LinkedIn and not even deal with Google Wave.  I will spend some more time trying to figure it out and get used to it.

What are you’re thoughts on Wave, what are the best uses for it?
